Can the menory in a Gatewaye netbook LT2802u be upgrqaded to 2GB? Or, can I use a SD card and use it with ReadyBoost? Has anyone used ReadyBoost? Is it worth a try? Has anyone noticed an improvement in system speed using ReadyBoost? Thanks for any help.

My LT2104u has a max of 2gb of ram, came with 1 gb. You should at least be able to upgrade to 2 gb. Check your specs on gateway.com and it should tell you what the max amount it can take. Don't know about readyboost. I have used and am using a bootable flash drive with Kubuntu 11.04 and works fine.
