I parted my hdd 13 gigs and tried to install xp 32 bit w/o reading first lol..

So that didn't work, then I tried installing Vista 32 bit on the partition and it wouldn't "Finish"...

So now when I start my computer, I have 3 different "Windows Vista"

And I have to pick the 3rd one to get on my 64bit version.. the other 2 are corrupt.

Is there anyway to delete the other 2 options?

I formatted the partition and they are still there as a option to select.

    It's annoying.

Did you delete the XP partition when you installed Vista? Or did you install vista in the free space and left xp?

    If you deleted XP:

Edit your boot.ini file and remove the 2 bad installation records. IIRC its a hidden file in C:\

Warning: Removing the WRONG ones may prevent you from booting into the operating system.

yeah you just need to delete the other partitions and you can then go to

Run-->msconfig and then go to the boot tab and delete the bad ones.

they should be in the order they show at boot, but i'm not entirely sure.

I'm not sure msconfig will recognize the partions if they haven't been added through that tool. He may have to use bsdedit to manually remove the entries.
