Anyone playing this on the 7805u? When I play the game runs awesome on the highest settings, but it randomly crashes on me. I get the "Mirror's Edge has stopped working" grey prompt on a black screen. The PC isn't overheating because my GPU temps are between 50-60C, the CPU's between 35-45C, and the HDD is between 40-50C.
Anyone have any similar problems?

Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
Probably a problem with the PhysX. Have you tried the hotfix?

You could also try disabling physx on the GPU, just to see if that's what's causing it.
Edit: lol, 2 Venture Bros. posts! -

Ah I'll try it out. Guess I didn't realize PhysX was giving problems in ME.

I know the PhysX version on mine was old out of the gate. maybe you need to update?
-
Nah I have the most current version. I updated when I changed drivers. I really doubt it's my drivers since they've never given me problems period on anything since changing them.
I'm going to try the patch with PhysX on and then off and see tomorrow if the problems continue, time for f'ing papers for college...yay... -
On my 7811, having no issues with DOX 181.22 w/latest PhysX. Try installing the 1.01 patch for Mirror's Edge that address some kind of PhysX related freezing.
This is my first and only PhysX game and thus far really, REALLY enjoying it. Wish there was a free roam mode though.
