Ok I am running a OCZ core as boot and have it optimized....but what if you run a second Disk drive? It is no longer optimized because of registry edits for the SSD? Is there a way balance the 2 types of drive togather?

not an expert and dont take it for fact, but i would have to say NAY on mixing via RAID....but for a secondary or primary drive...good to go.

Just optimise for the SSD. Your second drive will be fine.

Go on the OCZ forums for help regarding the SSD and its settings.

As iaTa said its fine, most of the optimizations for the SSD won't have a negative impact on the hard drive. Mainly they remove small write operations like indexing, last accessed time stamps, etc, hard drives don't take a big performance hit to do those small writes like an SSD does, but not doing them is just one less thing for the hard disk to do, so if anything most of them should help a hard drive as well.
