I don't have a P-6860, but I was wonder if anyone has ventured to modify the color scheme at all of the keyboard and the sides. The orange is alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of the color, not sure how other people feel. But I was thinking perhaps some people have ventured to give the paint job of the orange around the keyboard a once over and change to a different color, and maybe the sides of the laptop as well.
It would be interesting to see any modified color schemes people have come up with. I'm sure it would void the warranty tho - well, perhaps not actually as long as you don't modify any hardware components beyond an aesthetic level.
I've seen this thread about changing the orange keyboard keys to make them easier to read in dim lighting.

Titled: Easy fix for the orange # keys by Maxprime1
I would think that a pretty neat combination of that and a paint job could be thought of by someone who's pretty artistically savvy.
Thanks guys, hope you're enjoying your laptops!

Welp, I guess not!
It is a relatively new laptop I do suppose.
Cheers, -
If this thing goes on sale again soon, I'll be picking one up then.
... I'm feeling the need to paint! Maybe I'll try this post in the cosmetics area. -
good luck, but then it will look awkward because all of the backlights for some buttons are orange.and the number keys and arrows on the keypad are orange also.

I guess I am not artistically inclined but I actually like the looks of the overall laptop with the exception of the small right shift key and the dark orange numbers on the number keys that you can never see. Maybe some flourecent paint will do the trick
