    Hello folks

A simple question for the experts.
My P-7811 FX is connected to a 28" Hannspree monitor.
I always use the 1920 X 1200 resolution (Gaming and otherwise).
The only game that I use regularly is Flight Simulator 2004.
I noticed that when the monitor is connected to the laptop through the VGA cable, and only during playing the game or in some websites with particular background colors, I have an annoying flickering all across the monitor..no artifacts but just "pulsing" monitor light...similar to the old CRT monitor with low refresh frequency settings.

If I connect the monitor through a HDMI cable, no flickering at all.

What do you think the problem is??? Too little bandwidth for the VGA cable at such high resolution?? Some electromagnetic interference from my stereo system???

Thanks for your comments and opinion!!

    Regards

I suspect the latter. Try unplugging the laptop's power supply to see if that makes any difference.
