    I was wondering does my computer(SIG) support more than 4 gb of ram or thats the max amount u can put in.

    Actually you can stick 8GB into it... but it's financially unfeasible. People have been knowing to get 8GB to work on Santa Rosa with various levels of success.

    Google various combination of 'Santa Rosa' and 8GB and see what you get.

    I'd kill for 8GB of RAM right now (... if it wasn't so expensive).

    ... and yes, I actually DO need it.

    ... and yes, I would use it! Being stuck at 4GB of RAM is why I haven't bothered upgrading from Photoshop CS3 to CS4. Running out of RAM while working on huge photo manipulations is for the birds.

    i guess i should re-state that, for normal applications and games you will never need more then 4
