    NV59 Won't POST

    My NV59 won't post. The battery has been dead for a while and I've just been using it with the AC adapter plugged in. Last night it just turned off and then beeped about 5-6 times and gave me an error that said something about the battery failing.

    I tried removing the battery and just using the AC adapter but that didn't work. When I press the power button, nothing happens except the battery power led flashes red.

    I know the battery is dead, but it should still work with just the AC adapter, right?. Makes me think it is the jack. I have 2 adapters so I'm pretty sure it is not the adapter.

    Anything else I should try? I was going to order a new battery, but I don't want to waste the money if it is something more serious.
