Hi everyone, new member here, i just discovered this great website and register immediately. I got the NV5927u laptop a while back, very happy with it so i was just wondering if it is possible to uprade the graphic card? also i have 4Gb of DDR3 ram but when i check on my computer, it said only 2.80Gb is usable so im just wondering if it is normal or is there a way i could increase it to its max. I'm running Win7 32Bit. thx and sorry if these has been ask before.

Edit: so i find out that i can't uprade the GPU, any chance someone can help me with the rams? thx.

Install a 64bit OS!!!!! With those machines when using a 32 bit OS, 2.80gb used is correct, when using a 64 bit OS it will show 3.68gb used. With the remaining going to IGP and PAVP (Protect Audio Video Path).

That machine will accept 8gb of ram, but when using a 32 bit OS is pointless.

And as you found out the gpu is not upgradeable.

Awesome thanks for your help. it's nice to know you can uprade it to 8gb but since u can't uprade the gpu for gaming, 4gb should provide plenty of usage, thx for ur help once again.
