I've tried 2 sets of nonrefundable recovery disks from gateway, AND 2 different hard drives, and at the end of recovery, it always reports the same thing as it it setting up Windows for the first time: " The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation." If it's not the recovery disks, and not the hard drives, what else could it be? It's a beautiful 17" machine that we got for our grandfather's 70th birthday, and after 1 year, the manufacturer wants us to pay $300+ shipping for them to see it. Many thanks for any info
