OK, I just bought a gateway p-7805u with the 1900 X 1200 screen. Have to say, Gateway did a fine job with this machine. It's a very nice machine and works fantastic. OK, went and updated all my drivers like I always do with a new one, and Notice one thing, What is Physx? I believe it's on all 98X video cards but NVidia's Physx software is showing that I don't have it. I should I would think since I have a 9800 GTS card with Gig RAM. I know some games can uses this new technology so I would just worrying. Any Help, Thanks

It can be enabled on every Nividia's DX10 cards (officially only on 88xx and 96xx+ but with modded drivers on everything). It's strange that it doesn't show up. Tried installing PhysX drivers?

Here's what the first page and the settings pages say in the physx properties app.

    Hope this helps.

that actually means it's working ok

you don't have a dedicated ageia physics processor, but notice you do have geforce physx enabled, which is what you're after.

Cool, thanks Guys....After researching, I thought might be the case. Now can I load up the Demo's from NVidia's site, even though I don't have the dedicated ageia physics processor. Thanks my main question was answered.
