    Hi guys i have this old laptop that belonged to me im trying fix it for my sister but its so old i dont think there are any recovery media cd for it is there a way i can full system restore it like by burning a cd with recovery media if so where do i get it anyone have one?its a Gateway NX500S think it ran windows xp help plz thx guy. Already checked dell site and my serial number dont work when i try to order recovery media

    Ubuntu 10.10? Otherwise Win7 can be installed without a serial and you can figure it all out later.
