Hey I'm looking at getting a Black & Decker 200 Watt Power Inverter for my car. However I'm not sure if it will be able to power my P-173XL FX, particularity when it comes to Amperes.

Can someone tell me by looking at the specs would it be able to power my laptop?

Hi.
Normal power Invertors are not the best to power a notebook from a car as the power is not very smooth and could damage your ac adaptor or the notebook itself.
Have you looked for a car dc to dc adaptor cable.
something like the ones below, but see if you can find a reputable make.

Remember, that continuous power is when attached to a battery. The car power port can only supply about 90-95w of power.
Need help choosing a Power Inverter!!
