    Well I am finally pulling the trigger today, I got my laptop back (bad memory module) I am probably going to order a T8300 CPU to upgrade my T5550, anyone have any experience with this processor?

    It's a 2.4ghz vs your 1.83ghz. Not much else to say, further specs and reviews can easily be looked up in google. Sorry but what did you need help with exactly? Not trying to troll, just seems like you created a thread for the sake of creating a thread...

    t8300 is the very well rounded cpu and probably the best value for a p-68xx fx.
