    Need to fix laptop charging port. please help!

    Hello I have a Gateway nvc59c and recently when I plug in my charger to the side all the lights on my laptop start to blink and it stops charging. I have to plug it in and out many times for it to work but even then it will blink. What's the problem? and where can I get it fixed for cheap?

    nobody owns gateways these days..but i already tried taking the battery out i don't think its the charger either. It seems to be the place where I plug in my charger..

    agreed gateways are few and far between but if you can find someone else with a similar power plug where the voltage of the brick is the same and amperage is close enough the brick should work just to test it out.
