    New 9800M GTS Updates today (Dec 17, 2013)

    Just got notification from MS Windows 7 64 update that the following updates were available:
    WDDM1.1
    WDDM1.2
    WDDM1.3

    All for Nvidia graphics card 9800 M GTS which I have in my Gateway P7805u.

    What the heck are those and has anyone installed them?

    First stay away from Windows Nvidia drivers check with Nvidia for your card and see if there are driver update and if Nvidia doesn't list them then you should be ok not installing them those are Generic Windows driver for your GPU should you not have the Nvidia drivers loaded. That is what I recall that WDDM are. But I have a Desktop with Nvidia GPU and I don't get those messages I have 331.82 installed and never got those notification as you did. Maybe install the latest Nvidia driver first and then do a windows update again to see if those come back. Oh and my P-7811FX and P-6860FX has the 331.82 notebook driver and I don't recall from the Geforce experience checker saying I need anything like your updates are telling you.

    The board said that I needed to give rep to others first then try again for StormJumper. Well, I don't just give out reps willy nilly.
