    Hi guys i got my Gateway P-7805u this week was just wondering what the best Bios is and why ? also how do i flash it ? thanks everyone for help :)

    I believe that Kravis's 9C.17 BIOS that allows you to disable EIST is the best one. See the BIOS thread for more info.

    I would go with 9C.17, it runs the coolest on GPU's 44% compared to 67%. I have tried them all. Flashing is easy, I always turn off my AV and any apps before I do it, then it's click it and let it do it's thing. Make sure it's plugged in and not on battery, just in case also :)

    How can i get 9C.17 when i go to gateway its only showing 9C.20
    do you have a download link ?

    also im running Windows 7

    I found it on gateway site if you list windows 7 64bit as operating system it only gives you 9C.20.

    If you list windows vista 64 bit you get 3 dios to pick from one being 9C.17 thanks for help guy hope this works on my windows 7 64 bit :D
