    Hi,
    Finally got my power brick. The first one was/is useless as it shuts itself down almost immediately under any load.

    The new one didn't have the AC chord section, good thing I didn't listen to them and throw it out. It however seems to run cooler and no noise from it at all so far. And yes it stays on too..............

    Dude mine makes noises as well. I have the same version just named 7801u from newegg. How do I get a new one? Without waiting a week for them to send the new one? Heeeelpp! tanks much
