    New drivers for 7811FX dated 9/15/08 Posted!!

    Gateway has posted a slew of drivers for the 7811FX today; all are dated 9/15/08 but I'm not sure which (if any) are actually new, and I could not find the new BIOS, 9C.08.00, which enables RAID.

    Thoughts?

    Those drivers seems to be (at least intel storage and some others) stock drivers except Nvidia Vga

    Oh, so all the rest are the same that ship with the laptop? Ok, was looking for an updated o2media driver to fix that rare bsod I see.

    hey guys....i don't know why gateway site won't work from ROMANIA! I tried different pc's, different ISP's but gateway.com wn't work, neighter the support site(support.gaeway.com).....maybe ROMANIAN ip's re banned or I dunno. My p-7811 FX arrives on monday and I was wondering if anybody could upload a zipfile wit all the offical drivers over here or smth like that...or tell me what could be rong, why the gateway site won't work :(

    The site is quite flaky in my experience; sometimes it works well but files disappear and reappear minute by minute at times. I'd just keep trying although like a lot of high tech stuff I think legally 7811s are for purchase in the US only so they may be blocking offshore access.

    I downloaded the camera driver from the site which was a newer version than the one that came on my machine so I'd check each driver version for the drivers you are interested in updating, there may indeed be a newer release.
