Hi everyone, so far I love my new Gateway laptop. I was prompted to create backup discs, but the system is asking for blank DVDs. I was hoping to use blank CDs since I have a ton of those. Is it possible to create these discs using CDs instead? If I have to use DVDs, are they expensive?

    Thanks!

Edited: Does anyone have recommendations for what (if any) bloatware to de-install? Thanks!

I suppose it is possible to use CD's for this process... but it will take a ton of them to do it.

DVD's are dirt cheap and you will get alot more data storage for your money. I think the last 100 spindle of DVD's i bought cost like 29 dollars i think and that was a while back.
