That link is confusing me..
I thought that P-6860 was coming with... the T5550, 4GB RAM & 320GB HDD with Vsita 64?
-
-
Your right the P-6860 is coming with the T5550, 4gb of ram and a 320 HDD, Vista 64, the link shows a 15.4" laptop with kinda the same setup for $999.99
-
15.4" I'm assuming that would still be the same resolution then. Do you have anything confirming that it will be an ATI card in it or is that still at rumor status?
edit: nvm, I read those links you've posted and it confirmed what I was asking. -
They changed the article after I read it:
The Best Buy aisles also host the 17-inch P-6860FX, a Vista 64-Bit- and Core 2 Duo T5500-based notebook with 4GB of memory, 512MB Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTS graphics, and a 320GB hard disk for $1,350
That used to say T7150, 3GB RAM and 250GB HDD... oh well... at least it's right now. -
I just got my 6860 yesterday so if anyone has any questions about it, let me know.
But everything is as expected. -
Congrats baddubbin on getting the laptop....any issues with 64bit Vista?
-
Well I have my 6860fx on order, should be here in about 5 days according to best buy. It will be nice to put this old acer to rest.
-
congrats on your new laptop, badd. is everything working with vista 64 bit so far?
-
id10t error dfw Notebook Consultant
I don't see why not, it does on my 6831FX and my C2Q desktop...
-
havent had any issues with 64bit vista, havent had too much time to play with it yet. no games loaded yet...
-
Is the 320Gb HDD a single drive or 2 160Gb?
-
single drive, its a western digital drive. i think the model is WD3200BEVT, but I don't have the laptop with me. its 320gb wd 5400rpm. One open hard drive bay like the 6831.
-
anyone know about its compatibility with most USB game controlers and joysticks?
-
I have the ideazon fang gamepad and was wondering if it would work?
