Best idea actually! What I did same day I got my 7811-fx was I went and burned the Gateway recovery disk twice (yes a backup of a backup) And I went and burned all my programs I use onto the gateway recovery disk, instead of having the garbage they give you (stuff like adobe reader) I went and burned mozilla and stuff on it also.
An idea you should think about, saved me ALOT of time from having to hunt down each program 1 by 1, now you have the Gateway drivers for your PC and all your progs on 1 disk
 Hope this helped!
