Hello,
I am trying to download some of the Crisis Mod's and this is the problem, It says to find the file in the folder and add something to it, then save it, then you can play the game modified.
I have no issue in finding the file and folder, but I dont know how to add to the file, save it, etc, when I try it tells me cant find path.
Help, and walk me thru this step by step please, thank you so much,

If I understand your issue clearly then your problem is that you're attempting to install your mods into the wrong directory (I've had what sounds like the same issue with other software).
Look in: C:\Users\Public
There, you should find a duplicate folder having the same name as the file folder in your profile for your game. Find the sub-folder indenticcally named to the one that youv'e been attempting to drop your mods into. Put your mods in here.
Here's what happens under Vista: When you install and x86 program, it often installs with administrator authority. As a result, there are "virtually" two copies of your installed software. The one in y our profile (even though your account is admin) and the one in the public folder. Its the one in the public folder that you must modify (you might want to shortcut this to your desktop for ease of use later).
One other note: Right click on the program start icon for your game. Tab through the icons until you find a checkbox that says "Run as administrator". Ensure that this box is checked. It alleviates many compatibility probles with x86 software and Vista.
