    Hello all,
Newbie to the forum. I own a Gateway P-6822 laptop, age, unsure. Purchased it new many moons ago. I have been wondering if there are any upgrades i could do to it other than hard drive, and i found an old post from wizz back on 8-25-2008 ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/gateway-emachines/291028-cpu-p-6822-a.html) saying he replaced the T5250 CPU with a T8300. I was wondering if this is a good idea. My machine runs decent enough, but its slightly slow for some games (world of warcraft) that my daughter runs. Will this improve game play, and are there other things inside that i could possibly change as well.

    Thanks in advance

upgrading the cpu and ram would definitely give you a nice boost of perfomance. but I'm not sure about your laptop's specs. Also, installing SSD drive would significantly speed up your system.
