I have an emachines M6810. i havent had it very long. the problem is that i dont get any power at all, no lights, no sounds, nothing. i have test the power all the way to the power switch, and thats all good, and i also tested to switch to see if its letting the power thru, and thats also fine. any suggestions as to what could be wrong? I have heard that it could be my fuses, where are those? could my mobo be fried? or maybe my cpu?

Could be a bad motherboard. Send it off under warranty.

Best move then would be to give it to a tech to diagnose. Most likely you'll be buying a new computer.

well i took out the cpu out, tested it, and turns out that its burnt, im hoping that that is the only thing wrong because laptops really are a pain to disassemble...
