    No drivers!!

    no bus drivers, car drivers, van drivers, NOTHING!! jkjk . . .
    okay sry bout that. Well my real problem is that i just bought a notebook (p-7811 gateway) and i reinstalled vista to get rid of the blaotwares(unneccesary software) Now i have a clean vista 64-bit but with no drivers! I can't even connect to the internet to download them. What should i do?? :confused:

    here ya go. i believe it should be all the drivers you need.

    it wouldnt be a problem if there was internet for my laptop. The question is how to install those drivers using the internet

    you dont have a thumb drive or external hard drive you could download the drivers to? your obviously getting on the internet somehow....if it comes down to it, you could do a LAN transfer of the driver files over from one computer to the next.

    Vista should have installed the network driver for your wired connection ? probably not the intel one but i could have sworn it did on my machine after i formatted . maybe this has changed with the new machine.

    ok i got the drivers on a flash drive and i connected it to my notebook. How do i install those?

    you have to download 7-zip (just like winrar, but it compresses files smaller) and use that to open up the archive. link to download 7-zip here once its unpacked, it should be the setup.exe files in the respective folders.

    If handling the 7zip file is the problem you can also use Universal Extractor. It is a neat little program that you don't have to install. Just drag/drop the 7zip file onto the exe or shortcut for UE and extraction starts. Either way works. If you are not accustomed to portable programs just use 7-zip.
