    Im just really curious, my max resolution is 1440x900, does that mean i'm stuck with this res or lower, and cannot get higher like other people with 1900x1200 ?? thanks.

    You can hook up an external monitor/TV/projector and then your computer can display a higher resolution through that device.

    Apparently, there are 2 versions of this laptop that were produced. You and I have the lower res versions. Other people got the higher res versions. There is a thread about which production runs had which one and so on, but it is still a guess when you get in the store and the box doesn't have a known production run on it.
