I have been searching and researching laptops for the past month. Although, I am on a fixed income I have narrowed the field to two choices. One choice is an HP dv6000z ( $100.00 ) cheaper. The choice I am more incline to go with is the Gateway NX579X because of the Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor, I had read that this processor did not heat up as fast as the AMD HP is offering and also, the battery lasts longer. Just wondering if any of you who own the NX570X and could verify this; any advice would be appreciated. I know buying a computer is generally a crap shoot and I want to cover my bases as well as possible. Thanks for any assistance.
