    The 7808u has been out for awhile now and for a time was being sold at J&R.com and maybe Newegg had them for a time, too.

    PC Mag reviewed it back in March, h e r e.

    I agree. The only excusable reason someone would have for buying a 7808 is to see how they implemented the quad core, then return it and fix their 78__ to allow quads :D :D :D

    Your benchmarks may beg to differ, but if the only thing they changed was the BIOS and CPU then those same changes made to any other P78** would result in the same benchmark scores.
