    Odd restart problem

    Hey guys, Im having an issue I hope you can help me out with. Ive got Win7 on my 7805 and most of the time when I restart the power light and media control lights will stay on but the computer wont actually restart. It just sits there. Any ideas?

    I've got the same problem at times. I guess it has to do with ACPI. Haven't tried fixing it yet. Let me know when you sort it out.

    I get the same issue pretty often. My memory is hazy, but I feel like it has come and gone depending on which BIOS I am trying at the time. I think I'm on .09 right now and definitely having your problem.

    same here, win7 and the descriped problem, i cant use restart in anyway anymore. Hope somebody figures that out.

    I've never had it hang on restart before, but I have woken up to hear it restarting every minute or so. Whenever this happened it is usually because of my mouse, mp3 player, or ext. HDD was plugged in (USB), once I unplug whatever it is, it's fine.

    I changed my power setting to High Performance and it seemed to work. I Think changing your power setting to anything different will work.

    Edit: this did not solve the problem :(
