I don't know if you remember but I posted something a long time ago about two possible stands.. I ended up getting the Targus X Stand..

Dropped my GPU's heat by 20c.. I love it!

Good to know. I looked at that one. End the end I just built my own plexiglas stand for lunch money. Thanks for the heads up though.

Yup, After a 4 hour gaming session.. my laptop would hit 81-84c.. sitting on a desk.. Now it's maxed at 65c.

I think just propping up the back of the laptop gets the temps pretty close to that as well ;) But nothing wrong with a laptop cooler, I may invest in one if one catches my interest.

Edit: Huh.... I checcked your link after... you basically paid $30 for something a book could have done... but hey, if that's what you were after ;)

well you would be pretty embarrased sitting side by side in public with someone using a book versus your fancy cooler :p

    Touche'. :p

Passive Airflow > USB Cooler, that's for sure.

I got to thinking.. I don't have room for a text book on my desk.. :p

I got this stand as well and it rocks. Good luck folding up your book and lugging it around in your laptop bag.
