I just received my gateway m680 today, and in great condition. The performance is amazing!

At least compared to my 300 mhz celeron ...

Don't forget to write back once you've taken it for a spin. I know some people would be interested as alternative to the 9300.

Gateway is making some beautiful laptops that look even better than the Toshiba's which I think they knocked off design wise.

Now if Gateway can only get their pricing down to where I will purchase one.

Anybody have the 12 cell battery? Is it invasive by exceeding the case lines (robust butt)?

I don't think the 12-cell battery ruins the laptops aesthetic appeal.... and in someways, I think it compliments it... sort of like form with function, you know? heh.
