Translation of original post: The 7515 is a very powerful machine, with arguably one of the most powerful notebook processors on the market, ample RAM and HD space, and decent graphics. "Word."
Moderators note: Although I did find the language used here to be humorous, I agree with those who reported this post that the language and copious referecnes to drugs and prostitution were probably in bad taste given the quasi-professional setting of these forums. Also, the original languge of this post made it difficult to glean any real information from it. -

wow mantis,
that last post seemed like an honest cry for help post. No "dawgs, G's, or homies" within the entire post. Good job. Baby steps my friend, baby steps. The biggest thing to boost performance that I can suggest would be installing windows xp professional. Before you do this make sure you have the backup disks. People are saying that this computer actually comes with the disks and that you don't have to burn them yourself like you did with the 7510gx. If this is not true then before you do anything...CREATE THOSE BACKUP DISKS. It will save you a huge headache in the future. When you install windows xp professional, a lot of your hardware won't work properly until you update the drivers and point it towards the back up cd that has the drivers on it. If this is way over your head let us know and we'll walk you through it. Other then that, enabling hypertransport memory on the video card in the BIOS will help graphics performance. Downloading the Omega drivers for the ati x600 will also improve graphics a little bit. Hope this helps. I'm tired know...will post more later if it is needed. -
baby steps lol. Well i dont thionk i can get Windows prof. no monney so let me know how to go into BIOS through and enable the hyper transport mem. thnx.
