The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    For those of you who blew the back up of your systems CD's that came blank from gateway in your new notebook computer box...

    If you call gateway tech support you can purchase the "FULL" system with all oem software for only $20.00 postage included. This is nice for those who can't or don't want to try backing up the system on those pesky blank silver disks... "What side was up again???"

    This will include the XP Home Edition, all 7422gx xp home edition drivers and oem software... Nice to know!!
