What the best and safest setting in the bios to use for OCing the stock 1.6mhz to 1.8mhz or even 2.0mhz if possible without causing a lockup or freezing the system. I was trying to get a little extra performance off of this cpu without having to upgrade just yet. any recommendations for settings in the bios.??

Unless you buy a x-series mobile processor you cant overclock your CPU .

Don't forget that the stock power adapter isn't sufficient for overclocking because the max voltage is already obtained without overclocking. At least, that's if I remember correctly(only thing stopping me from overclocking currently)

i'm not that knowledgeable but some people have managed it, and got slight performance boosts, there are difficulties though so read through that post. -
Thanks I'll check it out I think I will upgrade the current cpu to a t9300 if I can't oc it.
