    1) Remove the 4 screws in the back of the unit, closest to the hinge side of the unit.

    2) With the LCD screen closed, Pop the back of the hinge covers up in the back of the unit by pushing "in." This releases a clip.

    3) Then, open the LCD, being careful not to re-clip or snap back the hinge covers. Now, with the LCD open such that it is parallel with the laptop body, pull on the hinge covers. The plastic housing above the keyboard will pop off with this action. Disconnect the wire harness

    4) 2-3 screws pull off the keyboard. Slide it up and out. Disconnect the wire harness or leave it on the palm rest.

    5) 4 screws pull off a metal housing that is between the keyboard and the motherboard. From there, you are on your own and it should be pretty self-explanatory!! Hope this reaches you in time!

I've got a 7330GZ right in front of me and I don't see any screws on the back. There are screws on the bottom, but taking them out doesn't seem to allow anything to come off.

My 7330GZ seems to be running too hot. The fan didn't used to run continuously, and the Intel Processor Identification Utility showed the processor running at just under 1 GHz (it should run at 3.06 GHz). I'm guessing SpeedStep is slowing the processor and system bus.
