    P 7811 FX gets hung up on bios screen

    hitting F2 or F10 doesn't work and it wont boot from the restore disk. help please...

    It usually means something is being hung up in the DST table. Have you upgraded or added anything internally?

    Some things to try. Try each untill something works. Make sure nothing is plugged into the outside ports.

    1.) Try first pulling the HDD(s) and power up.
    2.) Pull the CD drive.
    3.) try one memory stick at a time.
    4.) pull the wireless card.
    5.) try power up without the battery.
    6.) try booting with battery only.
    7.) although I doubt it would overheat this quickly be sure the CPU and GPU fans and heatsinks are blown out etc............

    Let us know if it boots or there is any change...................

    i tried removing the HDD's and it boots up... :)

    what do i do now? thanks in advance! is this a SSD problem?

    It very well could be your HDD just will not initialize. Same can be said if you are running a SSD. So it is time for a new one, if under warrenty still get them to send you a new one.............
