Obviously, I use mine for gaming. Was wondering what mice everyone used? I also want to get a pad/cooler for playing with it actually in my lap. All of those seem made for 15.4" notebooks, and the hotspot on my 7805 seems to be back left. I want a pad (or fan cooler that works on a lap) that will cover the whole bottom.

Razer DeathAdder Guild Wars Edition
Amazing mouse, and spot the colour coordination
SteelSeries SteelPad 4D
The matt side compliments the Razer perfectly for super smooth movement.
Cooler Master NotePal Infinite
Fits like a glove and air intakes are on rear rather than bottom so can be used on any surface.
Booq Boa Slimcase XXL
Stunning quality and look at the coordination again
Cyber Snipa Gamepad
To stop me wrecking my keyboard when I freak out playing L4D, can also turn blue light off not to break that all important coordination
Etymotic Research hf2 Earphones
The one gadget I would simply not live without, absolutely mind blowing sound (very similar to Etymotic ER•4s).
TeVii S650 DVB-S2 USB TV Tuner
For HD Satellite reception.
Sumvision TB32 Dual Bay eSATA HDD Raid Enclosure
With 2 x Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB hard drives for media storage.
Sony VPL-HS60 Projector
Running HDMI to the Sony which projects onto a 106" Optoma GreyWolf II retro reflective screen.
Denon AVR-3805 Home Cinema Receiver and Mordaunt Short Genie 7.1 Speakers
Running optical to the Denon for a full 7.1 sound experience (when available).
Oh and my girlfriend bought me one of these USB powered vacuum cleaners:
What a pile of crap. Thought that counts though. -

Yes to both questions.
-
Excellent information. Where did you purchase all of this from as I think I'm gonna get it ALL for my daughter and her 7811.
Also, I have been using the Logitech G-5 or MX518 mouse. I have been very pleased with them.
-
I got the mouse, mouse mat, cooler and gamepad in the UK most from play.com. The bag and headphones in the US directly from the manufacturers.
-
The Boa is perfect. Mine should be here in about a week. Booq's shipping charges were unreal.

I have an awesome set of speakers/hub...
AudioHub
Very nice set of speakers (2.1) and an amount of 4 usb... plus its black and an orange switch for aestetics -
I bought an hp backpack for my 7811 and its just a tad too small...how well does it fit in this backpack? mine i have to remove the battery to get it to fit and it barely does at that

I use the VX Revolution for my 7811, good enough for majority of games, for CS or BF, i plug in my MX518. Use a simple Fragmat for the mouse pad (wow edition that i got for 4 bucks), and I just use the Belkin notebook cooler that props it up and keeps it relatively cool.
Bag is a Targus CityGear Miami (well actually older version thats similar to the Miami), Bose Companion 2 speakers (were on sale at BJs for 70 bucks), and Soundblaster X-Fi Express sound card. -
Go get 'em boys. WOOOOT!! -
What I said was "Darn YOU GOODSPEED for making me buy things I dont need. LOL" -

Does anyone have a free shipping code for Tigerdirect? The speakers come out to $40.12 after shipping, still a good deal, but I save where I can
UPDATE* buy it through Amazon.com , you will save about $5.00 to $6.00 Bucks! The funny thing is your still getting it from tigerdirect -
BTW, I am using one of these myplace lapdesk with my 7805u, which works out pretty good... -
Enjoy the spoils boys. I try to help the cause whenever I can. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!! -
Those speakers seem pretty amazing and they also have a small sub!! Am very tempted...
For browsing the net or just everyday stuff I use a VX revolution.
For gaming I use the logitech mx518se which is a redding/orange color so nice match.
For cooling I have the same infinite coolermaster. It is a little small in the front (laptop sticks out 1" on each side) but the holes do line up nicely and I'm satisfied with my temps. If the Cyro was a little cheaper I would have gotten that but it's double the price!!
For headphones I use Koss KSC-75 - Unbelievable sound for the money and very comfortable.
Don't have a bag but I use the Targus CVR217 slip case to carry it around. Very good padding. -
This is what I have/am getting for my 7811
First I used the G5 mouse, but I recently upgraded to a G7 wireless one
SteelSeries Qck mouse pad. This is a large one. It isn't rigid which is nice for transportation.
Tritton AXPRO headsets. Haven't used the 5.1 on the computer yet, but on my 360 is it awesome!
For the headset (it has 5.1) I got the Creative Sound Blaster USB X-Fi Sound Card
Zboard Fang game pad.
I have the Merc board and enjoy it. This fang gamepad is basically the left side of the Merc board.
USB hub. Its a hub..
Quick price rundown. Top to bottom. (these are the prices I paid for, or the ones I have most recentely seen)
g5-50
g7-50
Qck-10
AXPRO-160
X-Fi-60
Fang-28+7 shipping
Hub-17 -
Microsoft Sidewinder Gaming Mouse
Antec Cooling Pad
Logitech Gaming Headphones
Seagate Free Agent Xtreme 1.5 TB (Except mine is black and white)
Targus Notebook Bag
Random Mouse pad -
Looks like I've set a trend with the pictures lol. Guess I'll have to update my post
-
USB Vacuum cleaner? DO WANT!... actually..
Now all you need to do is start your own religion.
-
LOL it's only for cleaning a keyboard, not the whole house!
