I'm going to be getting this laptop soon (already ordered it). And would like to know if reinstalling vista is necessary for better performance. Can I just remove the bloatware myself?
Also, I'm kinda new to vista and and I do download some programs that I maybe shouldn't...lol...I heard vista deletes them, is this true?

Vista is not that bad, never had it delete anything off without me doing it.
Make a backup copy using vista software. Check my link in the Sig.

yes a full format and reinstall is highly recommended because most laptop comes with too many bloat wares.......there will be too many startup programs which wil reduce ur performance significantly.......moreover u wont get ur custom partition setup on the preinstalled vista......so better reinstall it....its simple and easy.......vista will not delete anything off ur hdd without ur permission
