    I thought that buying the P-171X FX edition didn't have the battery that sticks out of the laptop. I was wondering if anyone else purchased a P-171X FX that has a battery that sticks out, or doesn't stick out...

    yep that is the way my battery is it sticks out as well I have a 171X FX
