    Just a few general questions....

How is the cooling system? Does it run at a fairly low temp? Hows the noise while doing task? Browsing, word? Gaming?

Any large known issues with this particular model/series?

Hows the battery life? Browsing, word? Gaming? Movies?

I have not had any problems with heat issues since I have had mine, just make sure you don't block the fans... The noise level while doing any non stressful work is quite. Just like any other computer when you start doing stressful work the fans speed up and its louder but I would say still quite enough for a library... I have had no issues with my laptop. While playing on battery with the CPU locked at 25% and monitor at lowest brightness, I can still play Guitar Hero full speed and I get about hour and a half batter life. While doing just Word or Internet Explorer I get about two hours and ten minutes. While in Performance mode playing any other game I get a solid hour of time. before it shuts down at 2% battery life. I havent tested with a movie but I would say it would be around the same as playing guitar hero maybe a little less depending on quality of the movie.
