    P-172X FX: won't recognize ethernet right away.

    I'm living in a college dorm where our computers are connected through ethernet to the university network. Whenever all of my friends' computers come out of sleep mode, they immediately connect and are able to go online. However, my P-172X FX takes about 20 seconds to recognize the connection, in which time I can't surf the internet.

    Does anyone have an idea about what could be causing this?

    Mine does that too, but 20 seconds, man that's a long time :)
