Well Im deciding(im in no rush) between a sager 5763(would have to be used) and the p-172fx. Seems like most people are happy with there gateways. Does anyone have a detailed review? Seems like I can pick one up for around 1900 from gateway with office(they said they would give me a 250 discount if I purchased office). My m1530 build quality is suspect, how are gateways. Also is gateway going to be switching to the new intel processors when they come out? Will there be a price drop on the models with the older processors? Oh and to RAID or not to RAID?
    Thanks

The lower end in the FX series 6831/6860 are well worth the price you pay for it. But if you're planning on spending 1900+, I'd seriously push you towards saving a little more and picking up the 5793. You'd get a more solid machine, better performance (8800gtx) and superior service through a reseller like xoticpc.
