    Hi.
Currently, I have 3 GB of RAM in my Gateway P-6831 FX. What RAM do I need if I want to add a 4 GB RAM stick with my current Gatway OEM 2 GB RAM stick with dual channel support? Besides getting a 64-bit Windows, does the new 4 GB RAM stick have to been the same brand as the Gateway OEM RAM sticks for dual channel support? I will be buy the 4 GB RAM stick at Newegg, so please give me your suggestion. I want more ram, because I use virtual machine.
