I have yet to open up my computer, but are there any seals or stickers on the processor that I need to break to swap out my processor?

I wouldn't know: I just got mine and haven't opened mine up yet either. But I'm guessing that you don't have to go through stickers or seals or anything like that.

There was a sticker on mine but it doesnt impede you from getting out the processor, and it was barely attached so really was in no danger of ripping.

Yes, you will find a sticker across the CPU. I just lifted it off with CPU and placed back into carrier that new CPU sat in for storage. I'm hanging on to mine for a while.

    :notworthy: Thanks a bunch.

LOL, i doub there's a sticker on the CPU, but there might be some sort of tamper seal on the case of the laptop. I say just leave it stock for now unless you need the proccesing power, once the warranty expires upgrade the CPU and by that time they will be cheaper. That's what i will be doing.

Ditto ;) , Also think it was the easiest CPU I've ever changed out.

There was a sticker on the CPU it was barely attached. This processor installation was the quickest and easiest one that I have done yet. I am really impressed with the design of this notebook casing and how easy it was to access the parts for upgrades and/or replacements.
