I had to replace my GPU fan, which I did successfully, only to run into a new problem... I seemed to have damaged my power button and I can no longer turn on my laptop using it. However, when I use the button that starts the computer with Windows Media Center, it works fine.

I'm wondering if anyone here knows if the P-6831FX media bar can be replaced with a P-7805/7811 media bar as I noticed the 7805/7811 media bar model has no separate fragile power button connector.

Please let me know if you guys think it'll work.
