I've tried using all the different versions from gateways vista driver list and all of them hang saying to plug in the bluetooth device to continue. Has anyone gotten bluetooth working in Windows 7 with an FX series notebook?

    thanks.

I have the same laptop, but still just the Vista OS. My bluetooth works fine. I'm assuming you'd have to wait for new Windows 7 drivers to come out?

yeah it worked fine on vista, no problems there. All the other vista drivers have worked fine in windows 7 except this. Cant seem to get bluetooth going and was hoping the hivemind here had already tackled this problem but couldnt find much in the search.

Hope someone speaks up with some success.

Wow. After spending quite a bit of time trying countless different things I cant believe the solution was so simple.

Fn-F6 to enable\disable bluetooth. Haha I've never actually used that button before and never had bluetooth disabled by default. Hope this helps someone else searching this forum if they have the same issue after installing windows 7. :)
