    P-6831FX New Ram HELP!!!

    :confused: I just bought new ram for my 6831 I went from the 3Gb it came with to 4Gb now my performance score on the ram has gone down from 5.1 to 4.8 the only difference in this ram is it has a rating of CL4-4-4-12 where the old ram was CL5-5-5-15 is there a problem with a P-6831 running a CL at this speed?

    There is no problem, WEI is just horrible. You can reboot and rescan and often times you will get different scores. WEI has no real performance value.

    WEI should never be used as a benchmarking tool. Its not even a real benchmarking tool. Its testing parameters are ridiculous.

    as the others have said ignore WEI its retarded. I just hacked mine to eternally stay on a 6.3

    your RAM is fine just enjoy the extra gig and ignore what windows "thinks" your score should be

    yeah there right its a piece of garbage. my desktop has a higher rating when my laptop smokes it in every bench mark

    oh noez... your score is superior to mine. :p

    I would love WEI to be an actual benchmark program that came with windows that was worth a d*** so everyone would actually have a baseline they could trust. But as it is WEI just stucks and doesnt tell you anything
