I just got a new hard drive that is 7200 RPM and my question is how do i make it so Windows will load faster with this new hard drive. Do i have to do a fresh install and format the new one.
I also heard of people doing Raid 0 or Raid 1. Can anyone go into further details about this. Sorry I'm a noob at these hard drives stuff :D

If you want to go raid you will need 2 identical hard drives. If you are planning on only using that 1 hard drive it will be best to do a fresh install

unfortunately not. You need the same rpm, cache size etc.

What 7200rpm hard drive do you have?
