I've been trying to replace my hard drive in my 6831, but it seems like it's stuck. The screws for the mounting plate are unscrewed, but when I went to pull on the plastic, gray tab it stretched and eventually broke.

Nomatter how hard I try to pull the thing out, it won't budge. I don't want to ruin the SATA connector or anything, so I've let it go.

    Any suggestions?

    Ugh. Got it.

Was a little worried about how it came out, but it seems fine.

Took the flat tip of my wire cutters and pushed against the small metal tab at the top, so that wire cutters were perpendicular to the hard drive. I wasn't trying to wedge it underneath, just needed something with enough surface area that I could push against. Took a lot of force, but it eventually came out.
